Short description: NutriConnect fosters a win-win environment where learning goes both ways!

Project description:

NutriConnect is a student-driven initiative developed within the iLab program. NutriConnect aims to help teenagers navigate the confusing world of online nutrition content, with a special focus on the growing wave of protein-related claims on Instagram. We discovered that many juveniles rely more on influencers than on certified experts, which often leads to misinformation and unhealthy choices. To address this, NutriConnect decided to create a genuine win-win situation: university students can apply their knowledge in a real-world context, while school students learn in an open, engaging and creative environment. This happens through an interactive school workshop that builds critical thinking skills using real examples, hands-on activities and meaningful discussions. To sum it up, NutriConnect empowers students to make conscious nutrition choices, strengthen their media literacy and reinforce the development of long-term critical thinking skills.
