Short description: a short animation explaining the concept of Collegial Peer Observation (Kollegiale Hospitation)

Project description:

This project is a short animated video introducing Collegial Peer Observation (“Kollegiale Hospitation”) at the University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten. It addresses teaching staff and aims to reduce uncertainty while emphasizing the supportive and developmental character of peer observation. The video is structured in two parts. The first part uses character-based animation and light humor to follow a lecturer through the peer observation process, including the preparatory meeting, the observation, and the reflective follow-up conversation. This narrative approach underlines that peer observation is not a form of evaluation or control, but a collaborative learning experience. The second part presents key information in a clear, graphic-driven explainer style, outlining the definition, purpose, benefits, and institutional context of collegial peer observation. The video concludes with a call to action encouraging lecturers to participate with or without support from LEARN.
