Short description: A cat detective on the hot trail of a fugitive.

Project description:

The cat detective crashes into the room. Every clue has led him here, to this forsaken place. There´s nowhere to run. This chase has finally come to a halting end. In this noir city steeped in crime and lust, murder is just another headline. The streets whisper secrets no one wants to hear. And watching over it all is a silent protector, a cat detective. With razor-sharp instincts and an unrelenting drive, he tracks fugitives who think they can disappear into the shadows. Tonight, one almost did. One crook escaped just barely. The detective had cornered him once already, claws inches from his coat, before the rat slipped free and bolted into a dim bureau. In this project of the Master Class Animation & Visual Effects the students aim to capture the essence of classic noir movies and follow a cat detective in a ruthless city on the trail of a suspect. The project was mainly produced in the winter semester of 2025 and ended production in early 2026.
