Short description: Votey enables groups to plan trips together in a fair and structured way by replacing chaotic group chats with a shared voting platform that turns everyone’s ideas into a clear itinerary.

Project description:

Planning group trips can often be challenging due to different preferences, budgets, and expectations among participants. Decisions about destinations, activities, and schedules can take a long time and may lead to disagreements within the group. This project aims to develop a mobile application prototype that simplifies the group travel planning process by enabling collaborative decision-making. Providing an itinerary that lets users add their preferred activities to specific time slots without being influenced by their group members' decisions. Allowing everyone to vote on an activity for a time slot if more than one was suggested. When the app creates the final trip schedule based on the votes, individual members can still choose whether to participate in an activity. These features are designed to make planning overall more managed and fun.
