Short description: Empowering every traveler to navigate the world with absolute certainty, safety, and transparency.

Project description:

Meridan is a travel intelligence platform that empowers travelers to navigate the world with certainty, safety, and transparency. While booking a flight has never been easier, understanding whether a trip is actually legitimate, from visa requirements to personal safety risks, remains a fragmented and stressful experience. Meridan solves this by centralizing visa legality, geopolitical boundary data, and localized legal risk indicators into a single interface. Users build a journey by defining their origin, adding layovers, and specifying a destination. The platform analyzes every leg of the route, presenting visa requirements and safety considerations for the entire trip. Beyond visa checks, Meridan provides layered safety intelligence drawn from globally recognized indices covering peacefulness, women's rights, and LGBTQ+ legal protections — so travelers can evaluate whether a destination is safe and welcoming for them as individuals.
